While the original glass bowl and stem are perfectly adequate the metal downstem and bowl are a real improvement. Aside from being unbreakable it is easier to clean and stays cooler during use. The diffuser is much more efficient as it has multiple opposing holes rather than the cut outs on the glass one so the smoke flows out more evenly. If you want a cooler smoke and no fear of breakage you need this on your tank.

I was worried about have a metal bowl and downstem because I thought it would heat up a lot but every since I got it I have been loving the downstem and bowl, they make hitting tokes a lot easier and it's really easy to clean

This changes the piece. The glass bowl and downstem are okay, but this is amazing. The bowl is so easy to clean, and can TAKE A HIT! And the defuser on the downstem is a dream! Also, it cools your hits a little more IMO. I'm guessing because the metal is cold from the water and it acts like a heat sink for the smoke. I might buy another set for my silicone pipe. (although the length is adjustable so i don't need to)

Nice flow, nice glass. Works perfectly. I’m super clumsy and have managed to break every downstem I’ve ever owned, and this one is lasting me through. 10/10 I love it
